Accessibility Weekend 2016 was held on 10-11 September.

Now in its 12th year, Accessibility Weekend sees attractions open their doors for free to people with a physical disability who use a wheelchair and their carer.

Access can have a huge impact on inclusion and participation for people living with a physical disability. Accessibility Weekend aims to highlight the importance of accessible communities and celebrates attractions who have made a commitment to providing access to people with physical disabilities.

Accessibility Weekend is a celebration of the importance of community access and inclusion. With many venues participating, Accessibility Weekend is great opportunity for people who use a wheelchair to enjoy local attractions for FREE!
